world-line by Richard Barrett is an intense 30-minute rollercoaster ride of electronics, electric lap steel guitars and FX pedals (Daryl Buckley), percussion (Peter Neville), and piccolo trumpet/quartertone flugelhorn (Tristram Williams).

This music video was commissioned by the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music as part of the 2022 Artist Portfolio Prize. Ben composed this piece during the height of the COVID-19 lockdowns in Melbourne, inspired by the frequently heard phrase ‘it is what it is’.
Grey Ghost is a meditation in piano and electronics, drawing on the ancient song of the once-prolific South Island Kōkako - The 'Grey Ghost' - of New Zealand.
