Wilma & Friends have their final two shows of the year coming up, and I thought that I should give it a little plug 🎉 .

The concerts will be happening on 17 and 19 September 2026, with a program that contains repertoire for guitar and string quartet. Definitely an interesting program to check out. Musicians include: Slava Grigoryan on guitar, Wilma Smith (of course!) on violin, Kana Ohashi on violin, Jamie Miles on viola, and Daniel Smith on cello. Here are some portraits I took for Wilma’s 2026 Season Photography. The tone for Wilma’s photography and website was fun, warm, approachable, and with an abundance of personality.

Two of my favourite pics from the session are of Caroline and Wilma – there was so much ribbing going on it was hard for anyone to keep a straight face.

I’ve done the photography for Wilma & Friends for a few years now, and I love how our photo shoots descend into a big catch up session with everyone. I guess that’s what happens when Wilma decides to have her friends involved.
