Nicholas Pollock – Moorooduc Estate

Filmed by Agatha Yim, Polyphonic Pictures / Audio by David Wilkinson, Oldskool Audio

Filmed against the idyllic backdrop of the Moorooduc Estate in Mornington Peninsula, this performance by theorbo player Nicholas Pollock was one of five performances produced for the 2022 Peninsula Summer Music Festival (PSMF).

The premise of this project was to film different artists performing in different locations within Mornington Peninsula in order to showcase both local talent and the beauty of Mornington Peninsula.

Moorooduc Estate is a small family-run winery established in 1981 by Richard and Jill McIntyre. They have a resident peacock called Reg whom I made sure to feature in this video. Apparently he enjoys singing along in the background whenever they host live performances in the space. Lucky for Dave the sound guy, Reg decided to listen rather than join in that day.
